Scope Of Ayurveda
Ayurveda has dealt with anatomy, physiology, Etiology, Pathology, Therapeutics, achievements of good health, hematology including the stage of the disease, physicians, therapies including wholesome locality and procedure. The body is composed of panchamahaboothas and divided into several organs. Its multifarious functions are maintained and regulated by the food that one takes. The unwholesome contact with sense, intellectual blasphemy and seasonal variations constitute the etiology of the diseases. The disturbance of the equilibrium of the dhatus is responsible for the causation of the diseases. Different seasonal changes and the different stages of the manifestation of diseases, constitute the time (Kaala). The procedure of treatment to be followed depends on the time, the disease and the drug.
